Friday nights session saw your Montgomery County Indians pull out an impressive victory over the North Laurel Jaguars! The Jags would get off to a hot start taking a 7-0 lead. The Tribe would respond with an 18-10 run to end the first and lead by 1 at the end of one. The game would go back and forth the rest of the game. The Jaguars were led by star Junior Reece Davidson who finished with 41 of the teams 66 points. Indians were led in scoring by Senior Cayden Reed who finished with 29. The real difference in the game was when Senior Ethan Dunn entered the game. His defense became an instant factor in the game play. Dunn’s pressure would be a force allowing the Indians to get several fast break points that helping the Tribe close this game out.
Now Montgomery moves on to Saturdays 1:30 game in a rematch game with Great Crossing. They played early in the season which saw Great Crossing win 77-60. That game was played without Cayden Reed and before the Tribe started rolling. Should be another great game!! Go Indians!!!
